Sweet Home Alumni Association

Sweet Home's alumni are one of the largest, most diverse groups in the district. The Sweet Home Alumni Association, formed in 1990, brings that group together to support education and keep in contact with one another through get-togethers, reunions and monthly planning meetings.


All alumni are welcome to attend any Alumni Association meeting. Meetings are normally held at 5:00 p.m. in Vergil's Center on the first Monday of each month. Our June meeting will be off site and for board members only.

If you would like to make a donation and/or become a member, your donation supports the scholarship fund. Each year many scholarships are awarded, including one that goes to a student of a Sweet Home graduate. Donations to this fund are welcome and tax-deductible.  Please email alumni@sweethomeschools.org to set up your donation.

Reunion Information

Class of 1974 - 50th Reunion weekend will be held July 26-28, 2024. High School Tour on 7/26 begins at 6pm.  Dinner at Banchettis on 7/27 at 6pm. $45 per person. Class picnic at Ellicott Creek park on 7/28 at noon is a BYO event. RSVP by July 5, 2024. Please contact Bruce Corris or Karen Thorp Baker for more info. 

Class of 1975 -  Reunion will take place in 2025 for the 50th!  Website: sweethome75.com.

Class of 1984 - 40th Reunion weekend is August 9-10, 2024. High School tour on 8/9 begins at 5pm, followed by appy hour at the Shores at 7pm. 8/10 all day event begins with 18 holes at Glen Oak Golf club, followed by dinner at 6pm. Dinner and golf $165 per person. Dinner Only $80. Contact Valerie (Kern) DiPasquale by 6/15.

Class of 2004 - 20th Reunion casual meetup will be held on September 21st at 6:30 pm at Fattey Beer in the Wurlitzer.

Class of 2014 - 10th Reunion weekend will be held August 2-3, 2024. High School Tour on 8/2 at 5:30pm. Dinner on 8/3 at Riverwors at 6pm. $36 per person. RSVP by July 8th to Joshua Burton, Liondsey Spengler or Connor Beaudet.

 

Sweet Home Distinguished Alumni Wall of Fame

The Sweet Home Distinguished Wall of Fame recognizes distinguished alumni of the Sweet Home Central School District who serve as role models and motivators for today’s students. There will be commemorative plaques displayed in the main foyer in the inductee’s honor. The induction ceremony will take place in the spring of 2024. Please use this form to nominate an alumni!
