2024-25 Budget & Election Information:

Important Dates
- 3/1/24 - Applications for Early Mail Voting, Absentee Ballots, and Military Ballots will be available.
- 3/1/24 - Petitions available to run for the Board of Education (2 open seats, 5 year term July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2029 for candidate with highest vote count and 1+ year term, post election - June 30, 2025 (for second highest vote count) - see below
- 4/16/24 - Tentative Budget Adoption
- 4/22/24 - Candidate petitions due back to District Clerk by 5 pm. Your Schools statement and photo due for BOE candidates.
- 4/23/24 - Ballot draw for name placement on ballot, 3 pm at District Office. Candidate presence not required.
- 4/25/24 - Applications for Military Ballots due
- 4/26/24 - Military Ballots are mailed. Ballots for Early Mail Voting are available.
- 5/7/24 - Public Hearing on Budget and Meet the Candidates Night
- 5/21/24 - Budget Vote and School Board Election

Candidate Resources:

Voter Registration Requirements:
- U.S. Citizen
- 18 years of age or older
- District resident for at least 30 days prior to the vote
- You do not have to register if you are already registered with the Erie County Board of Elections or have voted within the past three years.
Absentee/Military/Early Mail Ballot Information:
- Absentee, Military, and Early Mail ballots must arrive no later than 5 p.m. the day of the vote.
- Military Ballots: If you are presently serving in the military and would like to vote in the upcoming school budget and board of education election on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, please complete this application: Military Ballot Application - due April 25, 2024
