1. Your first step is to contact one of the offices below:

• ERS: NYS & Local Retirement System 800-805-0990 www.osc.state.ny.us/retire/members/index.php 

2. Make an appointment with Dr. Finune Shaibi, and bring the information you received from NYS.

Important: if you are going to be first eligible, there are timelines you must follow in order to receive District incentives.

Teachers' date to declare your retirement is February 1.
Service Employees' date to declare is 60 days prior to your retirement date.
